During the summer after first year and at the start of third year, I voluntered to take part in the University of Portsmouth Near & Far World Book Reading Scheme which entailed reading books to children from refugee families to whom English is not their first language.
I have done a collection of different projects steming from this scheme in a celeberation of what it stands for.
